Mika in Morocco

I still can’t believe I was going to miss such a show!!I still keep on remembering the events of yesterday, I still don’t want to let it go, I still feel what I was feeling back there,  I still have Mika singing, talking, dancing and performing in my head.

It was IM-PRE-SSIVE, it was BRI-LLIANT, FULL of EMOTIONS, it was so MIKA and so much better than the albums!!

My god…

I came to Rabat after the exams along with Leïchouna to attend the concert. But I was sick and Lïla didn’t want to go because of exams. So, just when I gave up on my Mika concert, Teejay came to pick me up from the coffee shop where I was working on my CATIA product and we went to Souissi. Leïchoune’s bf was nagging about security and the far location but I’m telling you people: it was safe with police around è_é and it’s about 25minutes on foot from Agdal. So, knock it off suckers u_u!

The concert was supposed to start on 22h30. I had to scream out of impatience so as Mika decides to come to the scene.

Then magic was on at 22h45.

I mean, the guy is in front of you. He’s fully living on the scene: Mika is dancing, singing, laughing, smiling, shouting, acting. Musicians are awesome, following his lead and giving the best of them to support his incredible voice. I was so happy to notice he was giving a performance similar to Marseille’s one. Mika was impressing. I can’t find any other word for he was literally charming everybody, and I mean everybody (the drunk ones of the back, the rural guys who are here only for pretty girls, the bothered parents who came with their children)

I can’t find a favourite moment in the show. So here’s a “cocktail” of the sweet times of the concert:

-Mika speaking in Moroccan Arabic dialect: apparently, his grannie was always nagging about the fact he didn’t learn Arabic and he felt shame for that. But “…Ma grand-mère n’est pas là alors…” (my grandma isn’t here so…). So cute and sweet hearing him speak in Arabic XD, would it be when he was dying and “going up to home” or when he was counting. People were screaming of delightment when we was asking them how they’ve been in Arabic. I mean it was so cute and making people crazy that I just can’t forget it now AYAAAA

-Mika performing with his musicians: once he’s killing them all then asking audience “whats wrong?” – “Oh! True it’s impolite” , then shouting himself too. Other time, playing Good Gone Girl with the opera voice singer and performer who was a source of enjoyment as well. Mika performence between two songs was so fun to watch ‘specially when audience gets its own word on it, agreeing or shouting a strong “no” (when he was about to shout the bassist with a heavy weapon..No longer little guns XD)

-Mika dancing on the piano: AYAAAAAAAAAAAA! In the scene too, it was incredible. He was so wild and energetic I couldn’t help moving as well too along with him. He’s an “electrifier“. Get him on the scene and then everyone is on 380V !!

-The “Solo Trumpet” XD. Adorable, sweet and original ^^, especially the second one 8B

-Mika waiting for the chorus from the audience: that was cute to see since the guy wasn’t giving up on an audience whose average used languages are arabic and French. Yet first ranks were shouting with him. But it wasn’t the case of everyone who were quiet puzzled. So, they decided to give Mika the special Roccie greetings in the back.

Mikaaaaaaaaa, Mika! Hou hou! Mikaaaaaa, Mika! Hou hou!

Believe me, it’s not a negative shouting, it’s the moroccan “Houraay” XD.

I love them red, I love them green ,I definitly love them Roccie 8B

By the way, I browsed up some stuff you may like, people:

-A Flickr account for some of the show’s pics.

-Thanks to reda ea, many vids of the show.

I loved it, I loved it, I loved it. All my favorite songs were sung: Grace Kelly, We are Young (I wasn’t epecting it at all and here it was!!! I was so happy he was singing it >~<), Good Gone Girl, Billy Brown (He sang it people! He sang for Moroccan audiance and duh! Yassir, nothing happened, so knock it off too u_u), Big Girl. Perhaps, I was expecting Toy Boy a bit but Blue Eyes was way enough to erase any beginning of tiny tiny deception.

I loved it and I’m so going to love it more and more in the future. Just let’s hope the commercial pop won’t get a shot with Mika u_u.

Thanks Mawazine, you’ve been a dear 8D

Moi j’aurai vraiment aimé qu’il chante My Interpretation, mais sinon, sur scène il est exceptionnel!

Au passage, si t’as 2 minutes, écoutes son interpretation (sans jeu de mot avec le paragraphe du dessus lol) de “Over my Shoulder” à Marseille…

    J’en ai encore des frissons…

C’est à avoir le coeur fondu, cette voix T.T!!!

Pourquoi tu me tortures Kazu x_x?

Même si au fond, c’est pas de la torture, mais du pur bonheur ^_^

C’est un bijou ce chanteur, c’est une telle oeuvre d’art…M*e j’ai tellement peur qu’on le ruine >_<
